But in all seriousness, I just kept atempting to delete the default microsoft drivers for my mouse and installing the proprietary drivers from anker and it eventually just worked. And so successfully I was able to download a software called ATNSOFT Key Remapper and I was able to remap mouse keys 4 and 5 to shift and ctrl as if like I press the mouse bottom it directly regesters as I pressed SHIFT or CTRL. I must say I'm really glad with this mouse and the fact that I got this working somehow, my sister is thrilled with it and her performance has improved from the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ wireless generic HP mouse she was using. The only kicker here is that ATNsoft key Remapper must be running for the keys to work, which is again a no problem since there is an option that enable it to start with windows. Ideally it should be hardware side from the manifacturers software. But we can't always get what we wanted espeically at a quality mouse that cost less than 30$.:).
